Very good. I enjoyed from beginning to the end. This story has everything from gay lover's to vampires and wolves and elves. So if you like reading stories about any to all of this then get the book.
I really enjoyed this book, and I hope these characters appear in other books
I just loved this story! Declan is the cutest thing. A house elf, he takes care of Master Phoenix's mansion, and has been in love with his boss for a while. Since he thinks he has no chance, he decides to venture out on a date. Phoenix is livid and finally stakes his claim on Declan, who isn't sure he can be all that Phoenix needs. After a series of betrayals, Phoenix and Declan confess their love to each other. Cute, funny and romantic, this was a great story!!
Can I just start by saying how much I love Declan's mom? Having said that let me just say that I loved this story! Phoenix was putty in Declan's hands and he had no problem with that. Declan has some mad skills and Phoenix appreciates them. From word one I was pulled into a story that kept me glued to each and every page. An amazing love story that at parts had me sighing and then laughing at other parts. A major fist pump towards the end for Declan's mom.
This was a short quick read that I liked. Declan has pined for Phoenix Moorhaven long enough. He is determined to have a life of his own Declan accepts a blind date. However the vampire Master isn't having it he doesn't want anyone touching Declan but him. Declan tells his date a wolf shifter named George what he is and who he works for he backs off and leaves him hanging. Phoenix offers to take his place. This was a really well written book I love reading Ms. Kell's books they are always hot. Phoenix wants Declan as his mate, but Declan is a house elf and he broke his mother's number one rule don't have sex with your boss. Although the story was short I wanted to learn more about Phoenix and Declan's relationship I am sure down the road I will hear more about this couple
The world is a much better place with people who can create such a wonderful literary world where the underdog becomes the top dog. No disrespect toward the puppies wink wink. My Man Declan exceeded all of my preconceived expectations, leave it to Amber Kell to spin gold once again she definitely has superior skill tossing a plot twist or two and make you salivate as you turn the page. Declan is a solid character even though he is young he has a charming old soul and add a dash of the bad boy ....Kapow SEXY! Master Phoenix is centuries old with a young heart open for love and romance. When these two obviously perfect for each other finally get their heads out of the sand the world will never be the same. Now I can sleep..
I've enjoyed a lot of stories by Amber Kell, but most of them seem too rushed. This showed great promise, but as with so many other it was rushed. One minute, the master of the house is determined that no one should mess with his 'man' (including himself), and then the next he's already seduced the man into his bed. - it's like the anxiety, antagonism, and enjoyable buildup of anticipation for the two protagonists to get together doesn't exist.

To me, part of a good 'romance' is the build up, the teasing/taunting, the flirting, the anxiety, the thrill of the chase, so to speak. It makes it all that much better when the pursuer finally gets their mate. That is way it is called a Mating Dance.

Perhaps she has a word limit for her stories and has to cut or change parts of it to meet that limit, I don't know. But if that is the case I'd love to see what Amber Kell could do without a word limit.
